What is the purpose of a digital baby shower invitation?
The purpose of a digital baby shower invitation is to invite your friends and family to celebrate an expectant parent's journey to parenthood. Digital baby shower invitations from Evite come with RSVP tracking, making it much easier to track guest responses. They are also accessible to a wider range of guests, so they are more convenient for them to respond to.
When should I send out baby shower invitations?
Baby shower invitations are usually sent out 4–6 weeks before the event. This is so the mother can enjoy the celebrations without the shower being too close to her due date. Learn more about when to send out baby shower invitations.
What information should be included on a baby shower invite?
Baby shower etiquette is different for everyone. Some people prefer to host a low-key baby sprinkle where guests come and go, while others wait until after the baby is born to have a sip-and-see party. If you're celebrating your parenthood journey with an IVF shower, adoption shower or rainbow baby shower, you can also mention this in your invitation. Regardless of the type of party you throw, a baby shower invite should include the event date, time, location, RSVP information, and the parent's name. It can also include details about the gift registry and dress code. Evite's baby shower invitations offer hosts the option to add up to 3 registries or a baby fund right to their event.
