First, ask your almost-4-year-old what they want. At their age, they'll want to be involved with some of the party planning, like the theme, guest list, and maybe even activities.

Easy but fun activities like arts and crafts, face painting, and games are perfect for this age, and if the time of the year is right, an outdoor party is fantastic for excited and energetic kids.
