Frequently Asked Questions: Business Event Invitations
Creating an invitation for a corporate or school event is easy and fast on Evite! First, go to the category page for your event type. Choose from options like Office Holiday Party, Networking, or Gala & Fundraiser.
Then, find an Invitation template that fits your business, or school visual identity and party's theme. Once you've selected your template, edit your invitation's text and provide any key details you'd want your guests to know. These include the event's date, time, and location. Change the font, colors, and placement of your text to make it truly your own.
If you've selected a Premium Invitation, you have access to Evite's Premium editing tools. Customize your company event invite even further by choosing an envelope and liner and adding stamps, stickers, reveals, and effects!
Once your personalized invitation is complete, you are ready to add guests and send!
Evite has 5 different ways for you to add guests to your corporate event Invitation.
- Manually enter the guests' email addresses or phone numbers in the text box provided.

Once you've added guests, you are ready to send your professional or school event invitation to your colleagues. On Evite, you can send your invite by email or text message. We'll also generate a shareable link so your guests can spread the word of your event.
Evite hosts can add new guests to their guest list any time leading up to their event date.
To send a business event invitation, start by compiling a list of all the individuals you want to invite. This may include colleagues, clients, partners, and other stakeholders relevant to the event. Make sure to consider the purpose of the event and who would benefit from attending.
For example, if you are hosting an Appreciation Event for your employees, invite your whole staff. You might also include freelancers or other contributors to your business. If you are hosting a Networking Event, consider inviting peers from other companies in similar fields.
Writing a company event invitation requires a professional yet inviting tone. Begin with a event name that shows what the event is about. For example, use "Annual Company Picnic!" or "Team Building Workshop" so people immediately know the event's purpose.
Next, provide essential details about the event. Make sure to include the date, time, and location clearly. Please include important details for guests, such as parking locations and whether the event will serve food.
For example: "We are happy to invite you to our Annual Company Picnic. Saturday, June 10th at 12 PM. Riverside Park. Parking available at Lexington & First."
Follow this with a brief description of the event's purpose and activities. "Join us for a day of fun, food, and team bonding. Let's celebrate our achievements and build some connections."
Don’t forget to include RSVP information, like "Please let us know if you can come. RSVP by May 30th so we can plan food and activities for everyone."
End the invitation with a friendly closing. You can say, "We look forward to seeing you!" or "Let’s make great memories!"
