How to make DIY Lunar New Year paper fortune cookies

This Lunar New Year, celebrate with these DIY fortune cookies. And feel free to make the fortunes funny and/or personal for extra fun!

Materials:

• Circle cutter (or 4-inch container lid, saucer, or other 4-inch circle to trace)
• Decorative paper
• Pen
• White paper
• Scissors
• Hot-glue gun

Directions:

Step 1: Cut a 4-inch circle on your decorative paper with circle cutter and set aside.

Step 2: Cut strips of white paper and write fortunes on them.

Step 3: Place fortune in center of circle.

Step 4: Fold top side of circle down (do not crease/fold all the way).

Step 5: Fold bottom half over and press in at the center to form a bend/crease.

Step 6: Pinch sides together.

Step 7: Place a dot of hot glue on the inside of your crease.

Step 8: Hold fortune cookie in place for a few seconds to allow glue to dry.
