What to write in a baby shower card

Before we get started, let’s go over a few basic tips for writing and formatting a baby shower card:

Opening address. Make sure to consider to whom you’ll be addressing your card. Is this baby shower focused on the mama-to-be? Or is it a celebration of both parents-to-be? Are you closer with one of the parents? If so, do you want to include a message specifically for them? All of these questions are important to ask yourself before starting your card.

Tone. Make sure the tone of your card corresponds with your relationship to the recipient. The closer you are with the parent(s)-to-be, the more room you have to write a silly joke or offer personal advice.
