what is this?
Evite has teamed up with PayPal to let you instantly and securely send money privately to the event organizer online! Use this FREE service to chip in for a group gift, split the cost of a summer house, or make a donation to a charity. This hassle-free service is fast, easy and eliminates the hassle of exchanging money at the event.
how does it work?
1) When creating an invitation, an event host opens the Invitation Options menu, clicks the "Request Payment from Guests" link and enters their payment request. A PayPal icon and a link with the words "Pay Now" then appears on the invitation.
2) Event guests click the icon or link to create/open their PayPal account, click the "Send Money" tab and make their payment directly to the event host. PayPal notifies event hosts each time a guest makes a payment.
3) Event hosts collect their money through their PayPal account.
