You are cordially invited for a time of friendship, and great food at the cabin on Lake Kachees. Come for a day, an overnight or for the weekend; all are welcome.
Please let me know in your RSVP when you plan on coming up and taking off for food planning.
Who: Our community group and friends of the community group. Yes, you can send the invite to your close peeps.
When: Friday July 27th to Sunday July 29th. We plan to be hosting from Friday evening (after work time) until Sunday afternoon. Cleanup on Sunday
What: We are blessed to have two boats (Thanks Casey) and beautiful mountain lake to play on. We have access to plenty of Hiking, Canoeing, Water Skinning / Wakeboarding / Tubing, a cool waterfall, and a Jacuzzi. There is no real itinerary other than a big dinner for all on Saturday around 7-8.
Food: I will be bringing all the food with the help of a couple friends. The plan is to have late apps / munchies on Friday, Breakfast on Sat, Lunch on Sat, and a big dinner for everybody on Saturday night. On Sunday we will have bkfst and munch on leftovers.
Bring: You, that is why you are invited, and that is most important. Also bring, a few bucks to help us cover the weekend. If you are coming for the entire weekend I estimate (but am not yet sure) $40 for the food, and gas for the boats. If you are coming only for Saturday we would greatly appreciate $5-$10 to cover the huge dinner and boat gas for the day. The cabin sleeps about 25 in beds but bring a bag if you have one. Also, a couple extra aero beds wouldn't hurt; we tend to pick up a few that were only planning on coming for the day. Bring cabin gear and a swimsuit.
Directions:
-East On I 90 over the Pass - Take Exit 62 (Lake Kachess) -Take a Left at Stop Sign over the Freeway - Go 2.9 Miles and take a right on Via Kachees - Go 1.1 Miles to where the sign says Kachess Village - Take an immediate left after the sign - Continue about 20 yards and go down the hill to the left - The cabin is the second on the right.
