Made in LA follows
the remarkable story of three Latina immigrants working in garment
sweatshops as they embark on a three-year odyssey to win basic labor
protections from trendy clothing retailer Forever 21. Compelling,
humorous, and deeply human, Made in LA is a story about immigration, the power of unity, and the courage it takes to raise your voice.
Post-film discussion
with filmmakers Almudena Carracedo and Robert Bahar; Guadalupe
Hernandez, one of the workers featured in the film; and Katie Quan,
Associate Chair of the UC Berkeley Labor Center and Co-Founder of
