Please join us at the NW Film Forum on Oct. 8th to watch short film-portraits of some of Seattle's most creative people, from the series, "Verve".-----------The "Verve" film-portraits allow viewers to enter the artists' worlds -- their creative processes, their work, their day to day lives and who they are as people. The presentation will include short portraits of: Charles Krafft, ceramicist-provocateur; Charles Mudede, screenwriter and perhaps Seattle's most literary journalist; Johanna Kunin, a transporting singer-songwriter; Laura Yeats who reveals visions in wood; the musical force, Evan Flory-Barnes; and Zoe Scofield, choreographer and dancer who has been described as the "kind of artist who kicks back".----------These portraits aired on the Seattle Channel, were shot by Gabriel Miller, edited by Patricia O'Brien and produced by O'Brien, Miller, Nancy Guppy and Lisa Devlin. All the artists from the series will be invited, and Johanna Kunin and Evan Flory-Barnes will perform. Come celebrate Seattle's wealth of creativity, the artists, and a new arts documentary project from Gabriel Miller and Patricia O'Brien.---------------Want a sneak peak? www.vimeo.com/kindred or www.myspace.com/olallielake
