As same-sex marriage finds a foothold in states from Iowa to New England, the San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band celebrates the American "heartlands" for Pride Month.

Like an old fashioned concert in the park, the concert features music by a wide array of American composers, like Lerner and Lowe, JP Sousa, George Gershwin & Elmer Bernstein.

An official San Francisco Pride Event, this concert recognizes the 40th anniversary of New York's Stonewall Riots. The past four decades have propelled us from the strife of Stonewall to the blossoming of marriage equality. Let us sweep you into Pride weekend with a musical celebration. LET'S GET LOUD!

With special guests San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus and their  ensembles, The Lollipop Guild and Vocal Minority, the show kicks off Pride weekend with an astounding array of music spanning the rainbow spectrum.
