Just some last minute reminder.
Please wear something that you are comfortable in and don't mind getting wet and dirty. Sandals are good. We have life jackets and paddles for you guys. So don't worry about it. Sunscreen is a must. If you forget, you can borrow from someone. You will get wet, but definitely not soaked, so a towel will be good. A bottled water is usually nice too.
Please also note where to park: Directions: From LAX, head south on the 405 Connect to the 22 West Exit Studebaker Rd. and turn Left. Travel South, turn RIGHT on 2nd St. Pass PCH, and on your right as you crest the bridge take the exit for Appian Way. At the stop (Appian Way), make a right, and proceed to the parking lot on the left side of the street (past the bridge).
Lastly, please be on time, so we'll all have enough time to have some fun on the water!!!! =)
Hi all!!! Summer is around the corner and it's time to invite your friends and families to come and experience what dragonboat is all about. This will be a great way to introduce our team to the community and expand our LARD family.
Please don't be shy and spread the word about this event. It will be a great day of fun and a great learning experience for those who have never been out to paddle.
This will be a great way to meet new friends. So, let's just all have some fun!!!
And don't forget, there is a BBQ right after the clinic. $10 for members and FREE for new attendees. It will be a great way for the new paddlers to mingle with LARD!!
