I'm honored to host and share the stage with New York's Adam Levy and Maine's Jud Caswell on May 9. The house concert setting is the perfect place to hear these two songwriters. I hope you'll join us for a spectacular night of music.
Adam Levy (pictured far left) is one of the most accessible songwriters and performers that I've ever heard. Listening to him feels so easy and natural; you'll be drawn in by the first word, and you'll want to stay for the duration. His songwriting is exquisite. You should also know that Adam is the guitarist in the Norah Jones band. He's been a primary contributor to her style and sound from the start of her acclaimed career. (www.adamlevy.com)
Jud Caswell has won every songwriting contest under the sun, and for good reason: he is a gifted storyteller and an unmatched wordsmith, not to mention a master of the stage. I've known Jud since our college days. It's great to have the chance to host an old friend. (www.judcaswell.com)
Things to know:
FOOD: Dinner food will be served starting at 7:00 pm.
DRINK: Bring your own beer/wine if you want it (fridge available).
SPACE: We have a big common room this time, so no overcrowding!
MUSIC: Starts at around 7:30/7:45 and ends at around 9:30/9:45.
SUGGESTED DONATION: $10 per person
GETTING HERE: The easiest way is to take the subway. We're a five minute walk from the Harvard Square T stop. Google maps does a good job, but let me know if you need help beyond that.
Please invite friends and family. If you do, let me know (by posting it here or by sending me an email) how many additional people will be coming.
Looking forward to seeing you on May 9!
