We are excited to announce that the RTP DVClub is hosting it's next luncheon on Tuesday, June 16th at the Prestonwood Country Club. Please make sure to RSVP to help us account for food and drinks. Our luncheon will be hosted by Matthew Clark, from NGC.
This quarter our speaker will be Sean Smith from Juniper Networks presenting: Design Verification: The Past, Present, and Future
Dr. Carl Sagan once said "You have to know the past to understand the present." This session will start with review of the current state of design verification, beginning with an in-depth look at how we got to where we are today. Then using this baseline, we will address the challenges of verification engineers who face 100M gate ASIC designs, and beyond. In the context of increasing overall verification productivity, the presentation will address new and emerging solutions in various forms, including verification methodologies, EDA tools, and verification IP.
