Hi all,
This will be about 7.3 mile strenuous [yeah, trying to burn off the calories from winter hibernation :)] hike at this beautiful place.
Hike highlights: grasslands, rock formations, views and fun people :)
We have 4 options to meet:
OPTION 1:
Meet at the Juniper campground parking area at 11:30 AM
Directions:From I-680 in Danville, take Diablo Road/Danville exit and follow Diablo Road 3 miles east to Mt. Diablo scenic Blvd. Turn left onto Mt. Diablo Scenic Blvd. - which soon becomes South Gate Road - and go 3.7 miles to the South gate entrance station. Continue on South Gate road another 3.2 miles to Park Headquarters and a junction with North gate and Sunnit roads. Turn right onto Summit road and go 2.3 miles to a paved parking area at a sharp bend in the road, at the entrance to the Juniper Campground.

Meet at the Shell gas station at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Lincoln at 10:15 AM.

OPTION 3:
Meet outside the 'Safeway' store at 10:15 AM

[near the intersection of Lawrance expressway and stevens creek blvd.]
OPTION 4:
Meet at the Rockridge BART station [Oakland] at the bottom of the BART escalator facing Keith Ave. at 10:30 AM
