Come join us for the release of American Earth: Environmental Writing Since Thoreau, an anthology of environmental writing. We're honored to be joined by renown environmentalist, entrepreneur, journalist, and author Paul Hawken, whose work (Blessed Unrest) is featured in the book, and who will be reading excerpts from his contribution. Mr. Hawken will begin reading at 7:30, so please arrive promptly.
We also plan to screen a brief video intro from notable writer and environmentalist Bill McKibben, who is also the book's editor.
There will be drinks and delicious organic food provided by local merchants, so come celebrate with us, and please send this Evite to your friends as well, though due to the size of our studio, we have to limit RSVP's to the first 75 guests who respond. We will also have books on sale at this event.
