To celebrate getting married, we are hosting a 7K Run and 1400 Meter Walk. Why those distances? Because the date of this celebration is 7/14 (Sat July 14). We hope you can come be part of our celebration. Race number pick-up will begin at 9am (yes, we are having bib numbers). The 7K Run will start at 10am. The 1400 Meter Walk will follow (probably around 11am). Note: 7K is about 4.3 miles and 1400 meters is less than a mile. A special keepsake? Of course! Would Malinda be involved if there weren't some fun factor?! The idea is we want everyone to participate and have fun. Don't worry about running the 7K fast. Just come and have fun. And if 7K is too far for you, then you can do the 1400 meter walk. It's less than a mile. Sure you can walk that far!! Awards? Of course! Would Andy be involved if there was not some sort of competition?! That's why it's important that you RSVP and that you choose one of the categories. What are the awards? You'll have to come and see. Also, feel free to bring a picnic lunch for afterwards. There are some grassy areas near the start/finish line.

I'll bring energy bars for 100 and a drink that you can put in you water bottle (powdered) to mix it- so bring water in a bottle. We will do the walk- any alternative routes if we want to walk 2 miles, pelase let me know.
