You're invited to attend the Baker & Taylor CATS (Children and Teen Services) Spring 2009 Publisher Presentations, on Thursday, November 20, 2008. Please feel free to share this invitation with colleagues, and note that there is a separate evite for each day.
The events of the day are as follow:
8:30-9:00: coffee, continental breakfast
9:00-12:00: Publishers present their Spring 2009 list:
Enslow, Macmillan, Gale, Penguin, Candlewick, Sterling, Abrams, Boyds Mills, DK, Kids Can, and more
12:00-12:30: Presentation by author, illustrator Judy Schachner Judy Schachner has received many letters and emails from parents and teachers confessing their love for Skippyjon Jones. Her beloved kitty-boy is the irrepresible hero of Skippyjon Jones, Skippyjon Jones in the Doghouse, and Skippyjon Jones in Mummy Trouble. This New York Times bestselling series has received numerous awards and honors, including the E. B. White Read-aloud Award for 2004.
