UPDATE, Sunday, Nov. 29: The picnic is on as rescheduled for today.
The WildFyre Society presents another fabulous nude potluck picnic on Haulover Beach, hosted by the Board of Directors. Bring a dish to share. (We generally need more entrées, side dishes, salads, and fruits, but fewer baked goods and snacks. The club will provide turkey, freshly cooked for this picnic.)
We will set up to serve lunch around 1 PM. The event will take place on the north end of the clothing-optional section. (Look for the club banner on a green canopy.)
Although admission is free with a potluck item, we will accept donations to benefit South Florida Free Beaches/Florida Naturist Association (SFFB/FNA), the civic group that maintains and protects the clothing-optional section at Haulover Beach.
This is an open event. Encourage your friends to come. (Click on Invite More People under GUEST OPTIONS.) There's no limit on attendance, but we ask you to RSVP by Saturday afternoon, Nov. 28 to help in planning.
We need a few extra tables on which to set the food and a few extra coolers. If you can help by bringing a folding table (picnic, card, etc.) or large cooler, please check the something to bring line on the RSVP form and we will contact you, if necessary.
Remember: NO glass containers on the beach! (Enforcement has been stepped up.) Public transit tip: This location is served on weekends by Miami-Dade Transit Bus Routes H (108), K (111), and S (119). Get maps and timetables.
