Plan to join us on our new meeting date, the THIRD Friday of the month, as we welcome Thelma King Thiel, CEO of Hepatitis Foundation International, who will provide a lively, informative presentation on hepatitis, with a special focus on preventing its spread in our schools and businesses.
Hepatitis is a very contagious desease and one about which little is known. Many are infected and don't know it. To get a better idea of the issue, you can watch an interview with Thelma.
Thelma particularly wants to address principals and teachers about the threat of hepatitis to students. We hope that you can attend and bring a potential new member.
NOTE: MEETNGS WILL NOW TAKE PLACE ON THE THIRD FRIDAY OF THE MONTH. Please adjust your calendars. Also, raffle and event tickets are available for our October 3 Crab Feast. See www.cbnpg.org for more details. Finally, Thelma Thiel's address to CBN was rescheduled. She was originally scheduled to speak at the May, 2010, breakfast.
My good friend, Cyn Jensen of Hotlicks Guitar Shop in Waldorf, will be joining me. Cyn is celebrating her 25th year in business and is a strong supporter of Catholic Education!
Camille Duncan will also be attending. This will be her second visit. Camille plans to join tomorrow!
Frank is going to attend the breakfast while I stay back to prepare for our friends who will be visiting us for the day. See you all next month.
