Our 10AM Seminars have been a big hit!  Thank you for your support.

The next seminar will be on JKD and Panantukan Trapping. 10am - 12pm, $20, FREE attendance if you bring a guest who hasn't been to MKG before.

In the broadest sense there are 4 ranges/distances in unarmed martial arts methods; kicking, punching, trapping and grappling.  The trapping range is most often defined as the distance where you can trap your opponents limbs and engage the bulk of your most effective techniques.  Elbows, knees, headbutts, punches, kicks, groin shots, eye rakes, foot stomps, sweeps and trips are all there.

In most martial arts styles this range is under utilized and under developed.  While it takes a bit longer to become functional in this range the training is fun, intellectually stimulating and beautiful in its own way.

We'll draw heavily from JKD/Jun Fan Gung Fu and Panantukan and include some elements from Muay Thai, CSW and other arts.

If you focus primarily on kickboxing this is a perfect seminar to try something completely new and open your mind to new ways to develop your skills.
