Each year 1.5 million children die from unclean water. In Africa, this translates to a child dying every 13 seconds. Clean water can transform a life, and transform a community. A sustainable well in Saharan Africa can be created and maintained over a five-year period for as little as $10,000. That translates to about $10 a day.
