Featured Taiwanese American Honorees:
TSUANN KUOKnown as an advocate of volunteerism, she is heavily involved in the community in more than 10 non-profit organizations in the areas of health, senior well-fare, social, education, culture, and art. In 2006 she was selected by KCET for the "Local Hero of the Year Awards" in Education. She was the main producer of this year's SEMISCON Performance at the Ford Theatre. This will mark the first occasion that she will be honored by a Taiwanese organization.
JUSTIN LINDirected the movies Better Luck Tomorrow, Annapolis, and Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. Continues to work on projects to promote Asian Americans to improve representation. He has previously worked with TACL's Entertainment Internship, spoke at it's Leadership Camp, and is a keynote speaker for the 2007 APALS Reception. His latest film is entitled "Finishing the Game," a mockumentary on the happenings behind Bruce Lee's last movie.
