NEW- ANNOUNCEMENT WITH APPOINTMENT INSTRUCTIONS
ARMED SERVICES BLOOD DRIVE . . . Thanks to everyone who has expressed interest in donating at the Armed Services Blood Drive scheduled for Monday, May 24, from 3 to 7 p.m. We are grateful for your support. ALL BLOOD TYPES are needed to meet patient care needs at the Naval Medical Center San Diego and operational requirements around the world. Please drink plenty of fluids, eat prior to donation and bring your military ID or CAC. All donors will receive a T-shirt and a coin.
FAST, EASY AND CONVENIENT SIGN UP - The blood drive sign up is now on line. You can schedule an appointment (priority over walk ins) by visiting www.militaryblood.dod.mil. To make an appointment on line, please visit www.militarydonor.com and click on the "Give Blood Now" link, type in “USPHS” under the sponsor code. You will receive confirmation email messages as well as a reminder email message prior to your scheduled appointment. Walk-ins are always welcome.
If you prefer not to go on line to make your own appointment, please email Doreen Rekoski at doreen.rekoski@med.navy.mil and provide your full name and email address and your appointment will be made for you at the nearest available slot.
