CUPID Bike Ride and Picnic

Dear Fellow CUPID members,

You are cordially invited to join a group of energetic, international development-minded students on a morning bike ride from Columbia University, through Manhattan to Brooklyn, ending in either a picnic lunch or hot food vendor spree.

There are two options:

1. Saturday April 17, 10:30am: Leave from 125 street, ride down Hudson River Greenway, take N. Moore street across to Manhattan Bridge, cross bridge and ride to Empire Fulton Ferry State Park for picnic. Here's the route

2. Sunday, May 2, 10 am: Leave from 125th street, ride down Hudson River Greenway, take Chambers across to Brooklyn Bridge, cross bridge, take Clinton Street south to Red Hook Ball Fields. Here's the route link: http://www.mapmyride.com/ride/united-states/ny/new-york/638126729848037585 />
Red Hook Ball fields are famous for their summertime vendors, (especially those serving Mexican food). It looks like they will be officially opening the fields to vendors on May 2. Here's some more insight on yelp:http://www.yelp.com/biz/red-hook-ball-fields-brooklyn.  />
If you would like to join in a little NYC adventure, please rsvp and complete the poll to determine collective availability. 

Please be aware that you will need provide you own bike (Bike rentals are also available at many bike shops throughout NYC). Also, after completing the ride into Brooklyn, there will be an option to take the subway back to Columbia University if you would prefer not to bike back.
