Full moon hike at Tilden Regional Park

Hi all,
ok, its time once again for a fun full moon hike at Tilden :)

This will be about 4+ mile mostly easy hike to enjoy the moon.

We'll hangout at the wildcat peak [it has a concrete area to sit], have dinner while enjoying the moonlit hills and the city views to the west. Feel free to bring dinner/snacks/wine to share if you like :) Remember, food is the best way to make new friends ;)

Then may be start hiking back around 9:30pm. We need to be back at the parking lot by around 10:00+pm [park has a curfew from 10pm].

Meeting spot:
We can meet at the Inspiration point parking lot at 6:45pm and start walking around 7:00pm.

Directions:
From Highway 24 East take the 'Orinda Moraga' exit east of the Caldecott Tunnel. Turn left on Camino Pablo road.
After about 2.3 miles, turn left on Wild cat canyon road.
Drive about 2.5 miles on wildcat canyon road to the Inspiration point parking lot on the right.

Please look at the google map and decide the best route for you.

Please mention on the evite if you like to meet at rockridge BART at 6:15pm to carpool. But make sure you have a spot in someone's car before showing up at Rockridge :)

TRAIL MAP

Please try to carpool to avoid getting lost by yourself in the dark in the windy roads. Also, keep track of your carpools when you are hiking so you don't have to search for them after you come back to the parking lot :)

Bring warm clothing, blankets etc. It may be cold there. I'll try to bring a lantern for the dinner spot. Feel free to bring a lantern if you have also. Also, bring flashlights/headlamps if you have, though you may not need them. Most of the way is paved. So please try not to use the lights when you are on the paved path, if the moonlight is bright enough for you to see, so we can enjoy the moonlight :)
