Third Annual Cardinal Young Alumni Summer Bonfire

This is our largest and most popular event of the year!

Come enjoy some great food (Taco Surf Mexican catering), cold beer and refreshments, good company, a warm fire and the live musical stylings of Curtis Peoples (www.curtispeoples.com).

Food and drinks start at 6:00 p.m., sunset is about 8:00 p.m., and Sea World's summer fireworks show provides the finale at 10:00 p.m.

Friends and significant others are extremely welcome (does not matter if they are Stanford alums or not) -- We have formally invited the Brown young alums this year. RSVPs are extremely appreciated.  We are going to buy the beer and food based on the Evite number.

Cost = Stanford Club of San Diego is subsidizing the event, but we are still encouraging a $5-10 "pass the hat" donation to cover the costs of the food and beer.

WE NEED HELP - As many of you remember (Cindy!) It is extremely difficult to get a bonfire pit on the beach.  Aaron and I will be there to reserve the firepit at 6am, but we need volunteers to come hang out on the beach to "guard" the firepit throughout the day.  If you are willing to help let us know, thanks!

p.s.  The Map has the right beach but is not exactly where we will be.  We will be at the SOUTH end of that park on the beach.  We will be at the first firepit on the beach near the bathrooms.  (right near the Ingraham St. bridge).
