Dear Austin Bilingue Friends:
The next meeting of the Austin Bilingue group will take place on Wednesday, April 23rd from 7-9 pm. The event will take place at La Madeleine - Arboretum restaurant.
At this meeting we will have a presentation by Leticia Smith, founder and president of Risas y Sonrisas (www.spanishforkids.com). Risas y Sonrisas is an Austin based company that markets educational materials that are based on the Accelerated Learning methodology (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accelerated_language_learning) and which are designed to quickly and effectively teach Spanish to kids in kindergarten and elementary school. Leticia will tell us about her company, its products, her experiences in the area of bilingual education, and be available for an open question and answer session.
IMPORTANT! - In addition to Leticia's presentation we will also be discussing the next steps that we will be taking to accelerate the launching of the dual language school which is the primary focus of the Austin Bilingue group. Make sure you attend to be part of these important discussions!
