For the second consecutive year, ReBuilders Source and Green Worker Cooperatives have teamed up to bring the Timpson Place Block & Barbecue Party on Saturday, September 12. This years?s theme:

ReBuilders Source is the Construction Industry's Resource

ReBuilders Source is a retail store determined to serve and educate the
public about seeing construction material debris as not a waste product but
as a valuable resource instead. Tons of construction debris are produced
daily by New York City's construction industry. A large percentage of those
resources are diverted directly into the landfill as opposed to being recycled at local, green worker-run businesses like ReBuilders Source.

ReBuilders Source has 18,000+ square feet of warehouse space that is dedicated to receiving construction and building materials from projects throughout the tri-state area. They then sell these new or salvaged building and architectural materials of high-quality to the general public at below retail prices.

Large donors of these new or salvaged building and architectural materials can receive a tax-deductible donation through Green Worker Cooperatives, a non-profit business incubator dedicated to forming local, green worker-run  businesses in the South Bronx.

On September 12th, the ReBuilders Source staff will be available with pledge cards to assist your construction business with beginning or streamlining your green or LEED initiatives. As a large number of construction industry businesses embrace deconstruction methods and more earth-friendly building practices, a visit to ReBuilders Source will make YOU an expert on how to green your debris at your worksites.

Doors open at 10 am. Arrive early to take special tours that are scheduled for all construction industry professionals following your BBQ meal. There is no cost for this event. ReBuilders Source/Green Worker Cooperatives are located at 461 Timpson Place Bronx, New York.
