Taiwan-Fest LA is a two-day event, May 10 -11,which will feature live performances from local community groups, a variety of cultural exhibits, carnival rides, a drawing contest for children, a free medical clinic, food booths, prize raffles, and MORE! The event seeks to bring awareness and understanding of the Taiwanese American community and its rich culture.
VIPs from both the US and International countries have been invited to attend the Opening Ceremony, May 10th at 11AM. The festival will be one of the largest Asian American festivals in the US, with expected turnout of 50,000 attendees!
Volunteer with TAP as we celebrate Taiwanese American Heritage Week! The success of the festival in promoting our unique culture to the mainstream depends upon our help!
Volunteers will be assigned to a variety of tasks and the following shifts are available:
Saturday, May 10, 9:00am - 2:30pm Saturday, May 10, 2:00pm - 6:00pm Sunday, May 11, 9:00am - 2:30pm Sunday, May 11, 2:00pm - 6:00pm
**Feel free to sign-up for more than one shift! *Volunteer benefits include free cap, badge, and food coupon.
TAP will also have a booth at the Festival (#108), so stop by and say hello!
Volunteer Check-In is at Booth #3.
Even if you are unable to volunteer for this event, we encourage you to just attend and promote it to your friends!
