Room to Read - Austin has partnered with Clay Pit to host a fundraising event benefiting Room to Read's work in India and the Room to Dream campaign. Please join us for contemporary Indian cuisine, drinks, music, dancing, and a silent auction! By the end of the night, we aim to reach our goal of providing 80 years of girls' scholarships, 20,000 books, or 5 libraries to children in India.
Cost: $40 per person. Includes a donation, entertainment, and food. *Note: cost is $40 if purchased before date of event and $50 at the door. Dress: Cocktail or traditional Indian attire encouraged Highlights for the night: Indian folk music by renowned Austin-based musician Oliver Rajamani Dance performance by Austin Dance India Contemporary Indian appetizers and desserts by Clay Pit Cash bar featuring event-themed cocktails (75% of proceeds benefit Room to Read) Silent auction items (including an original print of Ray Charles by a local artist, original Nepalese artwork, a massage gift certificate, Golfsmith gift certificates, a football signed by Hall of Fame players, and more)
