Razavi Biography: Reza Razavi, Ph.D. is the Director of New Ventures and Strategic Initiatives at Foundation Venture Capital Group, LLC (FVCG).  In his role, Dr. Razavi identifies innovative technologies in the areas of life sciences and medicine including devices and diagnostics suitable for start-ups and plays a leading role in the funding, formation and management of the start-ups. He also provides support and assistance with commercialization of their technologies, industrial collaboration, securing business grants (SBIR, etc.) and directs other strategic developments. Reza, a Business Development Professional with experience in the assessment, due diligence, marketing and licensing of biomedical innovations, negotiation of various agreements and contracts, marketing and management of intellectual property has a diverse scientific background in oncology, drug discovery and gene targeting at companies such as Novartis and Purdue Pharma, his experience extends to academia as well  where he served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at GSBS / UMDNJ, a member of the Licensing Executive Society (LES) and a member of UMDNJ's Institutional Review Board (IRB).
