7th Annual LARP Roast!

Please join us for a night of fun and bad behavior as we roast Kirt Dankmyer! Dress is formal. Former/present honorees have other requirements that they should, theoretically, already know.

Dinner will be a buffet served at 7pm.  Price per person is $45.

You must pay in advance to attend, unless you happen to be the roastee or his date.  He'll pay... oh, he'll pay... bwahahahahaha...

A selection of menu items is as follows.

Soup:  Roasted Tomato Basil

Salads:Cabbage Roasted Corn & Jicama Slaw
Hearts of Romaine Caesar Salad with flat bread croutons
Mixed greens, goat cheese, candied pecans, dried cranberries, mustard vinaigrette

Entrees: Top Sirloin Medallions & Balsamic shallot demi
Stuffed Salmon with Baby spinach & Boursin Cheese

Side Dishes: Fresh Seasonal Greens
Oven Roasted potatoes with fresh herbs & Olive Oil

Buffet also includes coffee, decaffeinated coffee, tea, iced tea, and water.

Dessert TBA.

This year we are starting the Roast in the afternoon, before the meal, in order to make better use of the day and allow for a more extensive afterparty.  This year's afterparty will be onsite, and will be run in the style of a Threads party with the Threads bar, but less roleplaying.

The roast is a light evening of good-natured, if ribald, entertainment to honor a member of the LARP Community who has done a great deal to forward LARP in the Mid-Atlantic Community.  We welcome our friends from everywhere, though we don't expect folks to fly to attend. 

Past Roasts have tended to be rated "R" for strong adult language and references so the roast is probably not suitable to children. 

Although the deadline for reservations has passed, there may still be King and Double rooms available at the Sheraton Rockville for the low price of $79/night plus tax.
