Hi all, This will be moderate to strenuous 7 mile hike at this beautiful park.
Hike Highlights: great views, rolling hills, rock formations and fun people :)
Note that there are some steep sections on this trail but the view should be worth it :).
As usual, we may go for dinner/snacks after the hike.
Bring enough water, lunch and some snack to share if u like :)
We have 4 options to meet: OPTION 1: Meet at the trailhead parking lot [near the restrooms] at 11:30 am
Directions: 1. From eastbound Highway 24 in Contra Costa County, exit south Highway 680. Drive about 10 miles and exit Crow Canyon Road. Drive west (right) for about 1 mile, then turn right (north) onto Bollinger Canyon Road. Continue about 4.5 miles to the trailhead at the end of the road.
From SF, take the baybridge [80 east] to 580 east to 24 east and follow the directions above.
From Southbay, take 680 north and exit Bollinger Canyon Road [west] and drive until u reach the park parking lot. OPTION 2: Meet at the Shell gas station at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Lincoln at SF at 10:15 AM. [u can wait for 15 mins and leave] OPTION 3: Meet outside the 'Safeway' store at 10:15 AM 5146 Stevens Creek Blvd., San Jose [near the intersection of Lawrance expressway and stevens creek blvd.] OPTION 4: Meet at the Rockridge BART station [Oakland] at the bottom of the BART escalator facing Keith Ave. at 10:45 AM Info and some photos http://bahiker.com/eastbayhikes/lastrampas.html
one IMPORTANT note: Please wait for others at intersections if you are not sure which trail to take.
Dogs are allowed in the park :)
