Hi All, This will be about 7+ mile easy to moderate hike. Hike Highlights: Redwood forests, banana slugs, views and fun people.
We have 4 options to meet:
OPTION 1: Meet outside the Park ranger station at 11:30AM
Directions: From Highway 280 in San Mateo County, exit Highway 84 west [woodside road]. Drive west on Highway 84/La Honda Road about 6 miles, to the junction with Highway 35 (Skyline Boulevard). Continue straight, about 6.5 miles, to the junction with Pescadero Road. Turn left. Drive about 1 mile south on Pescadero Road, and bear right at the junction with Alpine Road [stay on pescadero rd.]. Continue about .5 mile on Pescadero Road, to the park entrance on the right (drive slowly, as the entrance is undersigned)
GOOGLE MAP OPTION 2: Meet at the Shell gas station at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Lincoln at 10:15 AM.
Address: 1200 19th Ave OPTION 3: Meet outside the 'Safeway' store at 10:15 AM 5146 Stevens Creek Blvd., San Jose [near the intersection of Lawrance expressway and stevens creek blvd.]
OPTION 4: Meet at the Rockridge BART station [Oakland] at the bottom of the BART escalator facing Keith Ave. at 9:45 AM TRAIL MAP
There is about a $5.00 or $6.00 parking fee there to park in the parking lot, You may need exact change [its a self service if nobody is there].
No dogs allowed in the park.
