Jacqueline Hernandez is the publisher of People en Espanol, the best selling Hispanic magazine in the U.S. She joined the magazine in March 2004 with more than 17 years experience in advertising sales and brand development with significant focus on international television, print and multi-media.

Under her leadership, the magazine topped Adweek's 2005 "10 Under 50" Hot List in recognition of its outstanding advertising sales and circulation growth. She was named one of Advertising Age's "Top 10 Players in the Hispanic Market" in 2005 and 2007, as well as profiled in Hispanic Magazine's "Latinas of Excellence" annual issue. In 2006 she was named Adweek's Marketing & Medios' Media Executive of the Year.

Before joining People en Espanol, Hernandez was vice president of Global Account Development at Turner International, responsible for driving advertising revenues from key global accounts as well as steering the marketing, research and sponsorship departments for Turner International properties (CNN International, CNN en Espanol, TNT Latin America and Cartoon Network).

She currently serves on the board of the Emmys en Espanol and is the first vice president for the International Advertising Association. Additionally, she is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including Advertising Women of New York and National Association of Minorities in Cable.
