2009 Lunar New Year Parade & Banquet

API Equality-LA invites you, your friends & family to march with us in the 110th Annual Golden Dragon Parade to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Last year we had 80+ marchers and we hope to repeat another successful parade. RSVP to march in the parade is not required. Please join us for a banquet-style dinner after the parade at Plum Tree Inn in Chinatown, featuring winter melon soup, crispy duck, honey-glazed walnut shrimp, fish fillet in black bean sauce, salt and pepper pork chops, braised bean curd in brown sauces, sautÒ©ed string beans, and vegetarian noodles. Banquet begins at 5 pm.
The cost to attendees is only $15, plus your own drinks -- API Equality-LA will cover the rest. PLEASE BRING CASH at the door.
Please note that space is limited to the first 75 guests and we have reached capacity. You MUST provide your cell phone number so we can contact you ASAP if a space opens up. We will confirm with you over the phone. If you do not provide your cell phone number, we will not be able to confirm your attendance.
