What: Family Mitzvah Project at Harvesters We'll sort and pack food for distribution to the hungry in KC. After we work we'll join together in the Harvesters party room (light snacks provided). Who: 5th-12th grade students, parents, and siblings 6+ years old (children under 6 are not allowed in the Harvesters warehouse) Community Service credit: 2 hours community service credit for Upper School students who participate Transportation Options: 1. Due to low demand the Mitzvah Bus will not be making the trip to Harvesters. 2. Drive yourself and arrive at Harvesters by 1:00pm and leave at 4:00pm. Check the RSVP list to find folks to carpool with! Bring: Non-perishable items for the Harvesters food bank Attire: Wear very casual, layered (keep warm!) clothing. Close-toed shoes. Minimal jewelry.
