Tickets are no longer available. Our race day sold all 4,000 spots in four days. Hopefully those of you who wanted tix got them! The World Famous Mud Run, a 10K cross country run through Camp Pendelton, has hills, tire obstacles, river crossings, 5-foot walls with mud on both sides, tunnel crawl, slippery hill climb, and the final 30-foot mud pit. The cost is approx $50 and supports various base charities/funds.
No dogs, baby strollers, or children under the age of 15 are allowed on the course. However, all are allowed at the race site.
Saturday 7AM: Arrive early. (Just 'cause you're inside the gate doesn't mean much... there are still eight miles to go!) We'll carve out a meeting area on site with blankets, etc. Bring something to share for a potluck breakfast! Bag check is available on race morning. My cell is 345-0078 (858)
After the Run: Open showers and closed changing tents to get clean will be available on-site. Music, plenty of food, drinks, and beer will be available as well.
Sat Night: A post race happy hour! Details will be given as we get closer to the event.
IvyHour pictures and more! DIRECTIONS, PARKING & SHUTTLES: I-5 North to Camp Pendleton exit. Enter the Camp Pendleton main gate. Continue on Vandegrift, following the RACE EVENT signs (8.5 miles) to the Lake ONeill Recreation area. You will be directed (by volunteers) to parking areas and shuttled to the race start area. ARRIVE EARLY -
allow a MINIMUM of ONE and A HALF HOURS to drive from the front gate, park, shuttle, & check-in.
Race start is 9:00am sharp. Bring a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration when entering the base.
