Shinteki and Team Snout are pleased to co-host the fourth annual GC Summit! It will be held at the San Francisco Zoo's Education Center on Thursday, February 18th. There will be a happy hour starting at 6:30, with talks starting at 7:30. Anyone who has run a Game, thought about running a Game, or wishes they could someday run a Game is invited to attend. We will supply pizza, sodas, beer and a good place to talk about Game related issues. Several 15-minute talks will be video taped for later viewing as well. The scheduled speakers are: Ian Tullis - Reflections on 5 years of puzzle design Debbie Goldstein - DASH 1: 1 Game, 8 Cities Scott Blomquist - Puzzle Theory 102 John Owens - Metas I Have Known Dan Egnor - Computer Tools for Puzzle Creation & Solving
We are currently looking for a volunteer to assist with video taping the presentations. If you are interested, please contact linda@shinteki.com. The meeting will be held in the large classroom at the education center, to the left once you go though the gate. Parking in the main Zoo lot (normally $8) will be free for our group. The parking lot entrances are on Great Highway, or Sloat Blvd. at 47th Ave.
