Freedom to Read Foundation Member Reception

Dear FTRF Member and FTRF Member-To-Be:

The Freedom to Read Foundation Board of Trustees cordially invites you to this "Thank You" and "Welcome!" reception during ALA's Annual Conference in Anaheim.  It's from 4:30-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 29 in room 201C of the Anaheim Convention Center.

We want to take the chance to thank those who have supported the Freedom to Read Foundation over the years, and welcome those who are new members.  Come learn more about the landmark First Amendment cases the Foundation has participated in and what's looming on the horizon.  Meet the inaugural recipient of the Gordon M. Conable Conference Scholarship, Jason McGill.  Mingle with your fellow members and enjoy some delicious refreshments! 

Prior to this reception, from 3:00-4:30, please join us next door in room 201D for the first-ever joint Intellectual Freedom Committee/FTRF Issues Briefing Session, at which we will provide a comprehensive overview of the projects and issues that IFC is working on as well as the status of FTRF's cases.
