Join AlaVie Fitness and the Bay Area Women's Sports Initiative (BAWSI) for a boot camp and Zumba workout to raise funds for BAWSI's Salud Por Vida Program.

The 45 minute Boot Camp class will start at 9:15 a.m. and the 45 minute Zumba class will start at 10:15 a.m.  Get in a great workout and start your weekend off on a healthy foot while supporting a great cause.

We're also raffeling off some great prizes including several $50 gift certificates to Sports Basement!

We are asking for a minimum donation of $25 and will gladly accept larger donations.  Please bring cash or check made out to "BAWSI" to the check-in booth at the event.

The Bay Area Women's Sports Initiative's mission is to create programs and partnerships through which women athletes bring health, hope and wholeness to our community.

This fundraiser is benefiting BAWSI's Salud Por Vida (Health for Life) program, a companion weekly program to the BAWSI Girls program designed to encourage moms, teachers, and women in the community to exercise alongside BAWSI Girls on the same playground.

Salud Por Vida is designed for women in communities where obesity and diabetes are prevalent due to a lack of fitness opportunities offered in their neighborhoods. This eight-week program provides women with expert coaching in Spanish and English with practical instruction on how to abandon sedentary lifestyles with fun fitness programs while increasing self-confidence and good health.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
