Panel Discussion: The Future of Semiconductor Design and Verification Jobs
We are excited to host our first DVClub Symposium for the year 2009 at Cool River Cafe on Tuesday, June 30th. We hope you can make it out to network and mingle with your fellow design engineers and listen to our panel of speakers espouse their views and ideas about the latest trends in the DV community.
This event will constist of a panel discussion on how recent economic fluctuations have and will continue to effect the semiconductor industry for Austin, verification engineers, and industry consolidation. DVClub is pleased to present our panel of three distinguished speakers:
Ty Garibay - Director of Worldwide Digital IP Development at Texas Instruments Wireless
Brian Wong - Director at Intersil (previous CEO of D2Audio), Chairman of the Board for Austin Technology Council, Board Director at Integral Wave Technologies.
Jim Reinhart - Jim Reinhart is President and CEO of Luminary Micro and one of the company’s three cofounders. Jim has more than 25 years of experience in the creation and commercialization of computing technologies. A sixth-generation Texan with degrees from Rice and St. Edwards Universities, Jim will give a talk on the changes that are driving a massive shift in the semiconductor industry.
