Open Arms Housing, Inc. Board, volunteers, and staff invite you to celebrate the opening of the Dunbar project with a ribbon-cutting from 5:00PM to 7:30 PM on June 18 at 57 "O" Street, NW, Washington, DC.
As you know, the program is providing permanent supportive housing with a Housing First approach for women who have experienced years of homelessness.
We welcome all. We need many items to help our clients while they are adjusting to community living. If you would like to make a donation, you may become a:
Home Builder $5000 Home Sustainer $1000 Home-Maker $500 Home-Starter $250 Home-Helper $50 Friend $
Donations can be made via Open Arms Housing website, www.openarmshousing.org or by sending a check to 1527 Otis St NE Washington, DC 20017.
Donors will receive recognition on the event program and other publications. Donors at the $1000 or $5000 level will be permanently listed in the building at a later date.
There will be refreshments, tours of the building, and a silent auction. We invite you to join us later in the evening at the Pug, 1234 H St., NE. where we will be the beneficiary of Cocktails Charities.
Parking for the Dunbar event will be available at the SOME parking lot, next door to the building at 5PM.

I would love to see the Dunbar--and you!-- and learn more about Open Arms Housing. But I may need to be in Florida helping my sister whose husband died recently. Thanks so much for including me.

I would like to come, but I am waiting to hear the date for a meeting of The Arc's national Public Policy Committee. It will be either Tues, Wed, or Thurs that week. I will let you know as soon as I know.
