The film examines our present global predicament; as oil depletion, climate change, species extinction and population overshoot converge in a "perfect storm" of cataclysmic dimensions.

The free film premieres on Saturday, April 19, at 12:30 p.m., at Grand Rapids Community College's Calkins Science Center at 226 Bostwick NE in Grand Rapids (map). The film (125 minutes) will be followed by a community discussion, with the conclusion of the event prior to 4 p.m. Capacity is limited to 150 people; RSVPs are required. Free parking is available.
