Hi all,
UPDATE [11/08/2007]:
Muir Beach is closed Due to the oil spill. Not sure if the parking lot is closed also. So I have changed the hike to the good old, but beautiful Mattdavis-steepravine loop at Stinson beach [about 7 to 8 miles]
Meeting time is now 11:30AM at the Matt Davis trailhead..but the carpool meeting times are still the same.

This will be about 8 mile moderate hike through a variety of landscapes, with great views.


We have 4 options to meet:

OPTION 1:
Meet at the Belvedere Ave. [Stinson Beach] at 11:30 AM.

Directions:
Meet near at the Belvedere ave near the community center and fire station.
The fire station is at the intersection of highway 1 and Belvedere ave.
Follow the directions from the link above.

Approx GPS coordinates: N37.89910 W122.63745
[you can just type this coordinates in google maps and find the place]

OPTION 2:
Meet at the Shell gas station at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Lincoln at 10:15 AM.

OPTION 3:
Meet outside the 'Safeway' store at 9:15 AM

[near the intersection of Lawrance expressway and stevens creek blvd.]

Meet at the Rockridge BART station [Oakland] at the bottom of the BART escalator facing Keith Ave. at 9:45 AM

Bring enough water,lunch and some food/snacks to share if u like [bring something good if u like to expand your circle of friends ;)]. And bring some warm clothing also as it may be cold near the beach.
