Attend the free Grand Rapids premiere of "What a Way to Go: Life at the End of Empire".

The film examines our present global predicament; as oil depletion, climate change, species extinction and population overshoot converge in a "perfect storm" of cataclysmic dimensions.

Described by Jan Lundberg of www.CultureChange.org as "perhaps the most important media message of our time", What a Way to Go, features interviews with Daniel Quinn, Derrick Jensen, Jerry Mander, Richard Heinberg, William Catton, Paul Roberts, Chellis Glendinning, Thomas Berry, Richard Manning and Ran Prieur.

The free film premieres on Wednesday, April 23, at 6:00 p.m. at the Grand Rapids Community College Applied Technology Center (ATC) at 151 Fountain NE in Grand Rapids (map).  Capacity is limited to 60 people; RSVPs are required.  Parking vouchers will be available at the show allowing free exit from GRCC ramps.

The events are sponsored by the Grand Rapids Community College Earth Club in coordination with Local Future, a nonprofit education outreach organization.
