Openly gay film maker and long-time API Equality-LA supporter Arthur Dong's newest documentary, "Hollywood Chinese," opens in L.A. on Friday, May 30.  The film includes several moments of special interest to LGBT audiences, including interviews with out actor B.D. Wong and director Ang Lee who won an academy award for "Brokeback Mountain," and clips of the Alice Wu's lesbian comedy, "Saving Face."

A group of API Equality-LA members are planning to view it together. But if you can't make it, the film will run from May 30 - June 1st. Attendance during the film's opening weekend determines whether its run is extended, so make an effort to see this award-winning documentary.
