Evite launches "The Wizard," a step-by-step Evite creation process with improved tools and all new "Hot Spot Finder"

Los Angeles - September 10, 2003 - Evite, the web's leading online invitation service, announced today its launch of "The Wizard," a new step-by-step process for creating Evites that makes it easier and more fun for event planners to send online invitations. The new process includes improvements such as the one-click ability to add invitees, highlights to customization tools, and overall ease of use.

"The Wizard allows us to better highlight all of the rich functionality that Evite offers our 4 million users through a fun step-by-step process that makes hosting an event via Evite easier than ever, " says John Foley, President of Evite.

Among the key improvements offered by the Wizard is the new "Hot Spot Finder," a dynamic venue locator that suggests popular places to get together based on the host's zip code. The Hot Spot Finder provides descriptions of venues and can be sorted based on rating or distance. With one click, a host can select a location for a get together and automatically include the venue's address and a link to a map complete with driving directions. "The Hot Spot Finder, powered by Evite's sister property, Citysearch.com, is one of the many steps Evite is taking to provide online tools that bring people together offline and ultimately make Evite the web's best social planning destination" says Foley.

With the Wizard, a user can plan an entire evening out with friends, from finding the perfect place to go, to sending customized invitations and managing the RSVPs. And for any of Evite's users who have grown accustomed to Evite's traditional process and still wish to use it, "Evite Classic" will continue to be accessible.
