The Counseling Services Department at Palomar College invites you to our annual High School Counselors’ Conference, “Palomar College: Back to Basics.” The event will be held on Friday, November 15th, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
This year's annual conference will focus on the fundamental ways to help your students during the transition process from high school to college. We are excited to share what is new at Palomar and give you all of the information we have that will ensure student success during this change.
This year we are changing our format by offering breakout sessions. You will be able to select from several exciting options that meet your specific needs. We will also have speakers from programs and services that are new and growing at Palomar.
Please sign in at the courtyard area between Student Services and Human Resources. We will be offering a continental breakfast from 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Parking will be available in Lot 1 or 2; you will not need a parking permit; we have notified the Campus Police of the event.
Lunch will be provided and we will be giving out great prizes throughout the day!
We encourage you to invite any key support staff from your high school. Please respond no later than Friday, November 1st, 2013 via this Evite, or by emailing Lisa Filice at firstname.lastname@example.org.
