Some Christians say they want to go deeper,
but what they really mean is:
"I want to have my brain tickled with abstract philosophical rhetoric"
or "Please confuse the heck out of me so
I won't have to actually have to do anything about my relationship with God and others."
In this series, we'll see that deep doesn't mean complicated.
Deep isn't about an emotional high
or a spiritual goose bump.
The Gospel of Jesus is pure and practical.
And going deep is all about simple obedience.
